World Outgames 2017 in Miami Als nächste große Spiele finden im nächsten Jahr die Outgames in Miami statt.Wer Lust auf Reisen, Sport und nette Leute hat, sollte sich mal auf der Website der Outgames umsehen.Zur Zeit stehen 34 Sportarten auf dem Plan.Da ist bestimmt für jeden was dabei!

Einladung zum Badmintonturnier in Gent (Belgien) Hello, We are proud and excited to welcome you back in Gent, Belgium for the Auricula Open 2016. During the weekend of the 18th-19th November, Gent will welcome again athletes from around Europe to join Auricula’s Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender International badminton tournament.  As per last year’s tournament, we are using a brand new sports hall with 19 (nineteen!!!) courts! Therefore we will be able to host around 180 participants. Plus in the same building there’s a subtropical swimming pool and a wellness centre for post competition entertainment. We will be offering men’s and ladies’ doubles badminton in skill levels A, B+, B-, C+ and C- (only the A players will play with feather shuttles). Mixed teams are also most welcome, and can join in the men’s competition. Plus for those without a playing partner, blind dates can be arranged. This year the dinner&party on the Saturday night will be again in the heart of the historic city, but at a new location. The dinner starts with a reception with nibbles, followed by an excellent international buffet with selected drinks included, and a dessert buffet served with coffee/tea. We will also provide enough choice for our vegetarian friends. The party (with DJ Toon) is free for all registered participants. So even if you’re not having dinner with us you’re most welcome to drink, dance and flirt. So note down the dates for your diaries, and we hope to see you again or for the first time, at our most friendly of badminton tournaments in the heart of East Flanders. Tournament program: · Friday 18th November – 07:00 > 11:00 PM: Drinks&Mingling @ Casa Rosa. A cosy and chilled gathering in the heart of the historic city, allowing you to meet the other participants over a drink. We offer a free welcome drink to each participant!· Saturday 19th November – 8:30 AM > 6:00 PM: Registration + Tournament @ Sports hall S&R Rozebroeken. Let the GA(Y)MES begin and explore that inner competitive beast! · Saturday 19th November – 7:00 PM > 4:00 AM: Dinner&Party @ Salons Carlos Quinto. Stuff yourself and dance your tits off! Registration is open from 24th September and will be closed on 4th November 2016 (or when full). Eurogames 2016 in Helsinki Vom 29.06. bis 02.07.2016 war die finnische Hauptstadt Gastgeber der offenen Breitensport-Europameisterschaften der LGBT-Community.Im Mittelpunkt standen das sportliche Miteinander, gegenseitiger Respekt und der Kampf um persönliche Bestleistungen. Dabei hat Pascal Warminia wieder in der Leichtathletik vertreten und konnte in der Klasse M35 Bronze im Hochsprung und Gold über 110m Hürden gewinnen. Wettbewerbe fanden auch in diversen Mannschaftssportarten, Schwimmen, Tanzen, Badminton, Tennis u.v.m. statt.Im nächsten Jahr gibt es Ende Mai die World Outgames in Miami und im August 2018 stehen die Gay Games in Paris an, wofür man sich derzeit bereits ohne Qualifikationsanforderungen registrieren kann.Das Erlebnis der Teilnahme an diesen schwul-lesbischen Großevents kann als tolle Erfahrung und lohnenswerte Reise nur empfohlen werden.

Sommerferien 2016 und Ausblick Liebe Mitglieder,so nun sind die Sommerferien angebrochen und in dieser Zeit ruht bekanntlich ja der Trainingsbetrieb (11.07.-23.08.16). Deswegen möchten wir Euch schon mal auf ein paar Angebote hinweisen, die wir gerne nach der kleinen Sommerpause in Angriff nehmen möchten. Für Tanz-Wiedereinsteiger würden wir gerne unter dem Motto „Tänze, die man immer braucht“ einen Kurs, der über acht Einheiten geht, anbieten.Auch den Gesundheitskurs „Sanftes Rückentraining“, der im letzten Jahr wegen der Sporthallenbelegung leider nicht stattfinden konnte, haben wir wieder im Programm.Spaß und Nervenkitzel bietet eine Klettertour, die für Ende August/Anfang September im Kletterpark am Johannisberg stattfinden soll. Hier ist für jeden der richtige Parcours dabei – vom Anfänger bis zum Profi!Weitere Informationen gibt’s natürlich hier auf unserer Homepage oder bei Facebook.
